Happy birthday :iconcordria:!

I believe you once mentioned enjoying these books- I hope I'm remembering correctly.

I wish I could have spent more time on it, and made it actually look like the cover of the book...but I wanted to get a birthday thing done on time. (For once.;p)

Materials: Markers, oil pastels.

new moon @ not me.

PRETTY! I loved that book too. :D Thank you thank you thank you! The flower looks so nice - you did a good job with the colors. :)

I am unique.

...this makes everyone else unexpectedly happy, since they know there can't be two of me out there.
:iconmagpie8spook:
Heh, I just finished reading it, so I had the reference handy.

You're welcome.:)
Thanks- my scanner kind of ate it, but I tried to fix it a bit.^^;

Hope you had an excellent birthday.:)

I might not like the book, but this came out very nice. :)

The coloring's pretty good--as you know, I am color!Fail, especially with colored pencils. :'D I'm hoping the Prismacolors I bought will make coloring easier for me, but I won't use them until I find a decent sharpener; the ones at my house are absolutely terrible.

I never understood why she picked those pictures for her covers, though. |: Then again, I never understood why ANYONE liked the books. Dx

Erm, trying to hold up my end of the bargain here...xD -fails pretty hard-

I take that as a high compliment, then. Thank you.:)

! Prismacolours are exciting. I found some in the back hall, and I was consequently rather pleased. I really, really hope you get to a sharpener soon then.

I don't quite know either, but give me long enough, and I can work up mounds of symbolism for you. If there's one thing I'm good at, it's coming up with symbolic nonsense. c:

NEITHER DO I. I mean, I just don't understand how they became such a huge deal. But then again, why is any romance novel a big deal? Because that's exactly what it is. My friend was reading me excerpts from the Romance section in chapters, and it was like hearing Twilight out loud.

No. You don't fail at all. :cuddle: I very much appreciate the comments, the conversation, etc., etc.

:) Not a problem in the least.

:excited: double-! I just got an accessory set for my colored pencils today (sharpener, blender, and all), and a 24-set of markers! COUPONS AND REBATES FTW

O RLY? :3 Then I think you'll like the Mind Screw!

Really, though. There is no symbolism in those books. At all.

:disbelief: Tell me about it. It wasn't even the novels that I hated--they were boring and I disliked them, but I could move on, you know? But the sheer ATTENTION those things get. It's nothing but poorly-written eye candy.

Makes me go :iconpatrick2plz:

:blushes: D'aww...BUT I FEEL LIKE A FAILURE ALL THE TIME. :slamhead:

And I actually have good reasons for my self-loathing, so it's not just as if I'm emo.

Blender? That sounds like fun...and markers! :excited: I love coupons, I really do. Tis how I got my Sharpies.)

Nope. It's all plot, and almost nothing else.

I agree. I've read books I didn't enjoy, and part of that was moving on and being able to forget them. The thing with Twilight, I guess, is that it must be really exciting eye candy. Maybe more people are romantics than I thought. I find them to be a bit like 'Maximum Ride'; there, the story was exciting and interesting at first, but as it ' progressed', there was absolutely nothing happening. That was kind of a disappointment.

:( But you aren't! Mind you, I'm in /fail! mode most of the time too, so I guess I can relate. Bah. At least failure has to turn into winning at some point. Or at the very least, epic failure, which is much harder to achieve. That's just the way the world works.

Shouldn't use it twice, but...

:iconemu:?

The thing about self-loathing is, it's really easy. Try to pick out stuff you like about yourself- it's harder, and way more rewarding in the end.

I sound like a life-coach, don't I? D:
